With Halloween just around the corner its time to bring out the cobwebs and get your scare on.
To celebrate Halloween, we've brought the cauldron out from the dungeon and given the much-loved Creme Egg a ghoulish transformation. Our Mad scientists have added a pinch of green goo, a dash of boos and a handful of screaming banshees which has transformed our classic Creme Eggs into lip-smacking morsels of Halloween. These gooey green eggs have been named Cadbury Screme Eggs.
The ghoulish eggs are a special version of the much loved Cadbury Creme Eggs and are filled with green gooey goodness encased in smooth and delicious Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate. They come in either the bitsize version called Screme Egg Minis, or the all new larger, 39g, Screme Egg.
Cadbury Screme Eggs are available at major supermarkets, discount department stores and independent grocery stores nationally throughout October.
There are many different ways people celebrate Halloween. For some Halloween is a time for fun, with people dressing up as goblins or ghosts, trick-or-treating, and having spooky Halloween parties.
Others view it as a time of superstitions, ghosts, goblins and evil spirits that should be avoided at all costs.
The most popular way to celebrate Halloween is to dress up and go trick or treating.
As you may not know everyone in your neighbourhood we have put together some simple ideas for your family to have fun and stay safe whilst trick or treating.

Halloween is widely celebrated in Australia and is a great activity to do with your family and friends.
Below are some ideas for activities for you and your family to celebrate this Halloween.
How will you celebrate Halloween come 31 October 2012? #Scremeeggs
A Halloween tradition that can't be missed. Simply fill up a bucket with water and add some apples. Participants then need to retrieve apples using only their mouths (no hands). The size of the tub and apples will make a considerable difference in the difficulty of the game. For children, make the apples smaller and the tub shallower, always ensuring they are supervised. Choose a soft variety of apples, they're easier to bite into.
Have a towel handy for afterwards. To make the game exciting you can provide prizes for things like first apple retrieved, retrieving specially marked apples, and if you are feeling really generous, everyone who successfully retrieves an apple.
Spend some time with your kids in the kitchen baking and decorating Halloween cookies. Use green and orange coloured icing and an assortment of lollies. Not a master chef? Purchase a plain packet of biscuits and decorate them.
Each participant is given a spoon and a ping pong ball (the ping pong ball has an eye drawn on it). Similar to an egg and spoon race drop one of the eyeballs in each spoon.
Mark out a starting line and a finishing line.
Ask the participants to all line up at the starting line and signal the race has started.
The participant that reaches the finish line first with the eyeball still in the spoon wins.
Note: You can pre-design the ping pong balls to look like eyeballs or grab some textas and ask the kids to decorate their eyeballs before you start the race. Make sure there are red markers available to draw bloodshot lines so the eyes look extra scary.
If you want to make the race harder, ask participants to return to the start whenever they drop their eyeball.
Decorate your house to become your very own haunted house. Dress up as monsters, vampires, zombies, etc, to scare your guests as they venture through. To increase the scariness of your house don't forget to adjust the lighting and play sound effects.
This contest is a must for any Halloween Party! Choose the categories for the contest ahead of time and let your guests know well in advance so they can plan their costumes accordingly. You can hand out a certificate and prize for each category winner.
Get everyone to pair up and decide who will be the "mummy" and who will be the "mummifier" (person who wraps the toilet paper around the other person). Depending on the size of people each team is handed 2 rolls of toilet paper.
When the music starts the teams start wrapping their mummy. Like music chairs when the music stops so too must the wrapping. Which ever team's mummy is most mummified (wrapped) wins!
Draw or print out an image of the witch and ask the kids to help you decorate it. Then cut out the image and stick the witch on the wall.
Grab a big blob of blutak and roll it in the carpet to create a wart like texture.
Use a piece of material as blind fold by wrapping it around the participant's head and covering the eyes. Spin the participant around 3 times and ask them to pin the wart on where they think the witch's nose is.
Then remove the blindfold from the participants eyes to show them how close or far they got from the witch's nose.
The participant who puts the wart closest to the nose wins.
Carve a scary Halloween pumpkin. Let the kids help hollow out the pumpkins. For safety reasons we recommend an adult to do the face carving. Choose small to medium-sized pumpkins that are easy to carry.
Similar to an Easter egg hunt, but instead using Screme Egg Minis. If you're doing this (outdoors) after dark, hide the Screme Egg Minis in a much smaller area so people don't have to wander too far.
Share with us on the Creme Egg Facebook page which activities you plan to do this Halloween. And don't forget to tell us your stories about dressing up or playing Halloween games with your friends and family.
